Hi, I'm Verdell

LIBERTY COUNTY STRONG

I am a native of Liberty County. I grew up in Midway, GA. One of seven children born to parents who worked hard and taught us to honor God, love family, serve your community and do good. I am a licensed Minister and have a passion for Kingdom work. I'm a product of the Liberty County School System, from kindergarten to graduating from Bradwell Institute. I'm married to Randolph Jones, Jr. who is retired from the United States Air Force and we have two daughters, Shayla Parker (and her husband Dominick) and Tajana Jones. My pride and joy is my granddaughter, Brooklynn.

The Businesswoman, Motivational Speaker, Elected Official and Mentor to many. I have has served on the Liberty County School Board since 2009 and various other boards in Liberty County. I have over twenty-five years of experience in insurance, financial services and real estate. I was a Budget Analyst for the federal government for many years. My combined professional experiences make me well versed in effectively managing resources. Currently, I do business as a State Farm Agent specializing in insurance and financial services.

Passionate about literacy, recently founded The Midway Project, a 501(c)3 organization devoted to closing literacy gaps in education and finances.
